FKN GET OVER YOURSELVES

Re: the climate change "debate"....or climate change mass-debate, as I call it.

Really, there's no debate that the environment is changing. Who gives a shit if we - as a species - are majority responsible or if it's a planetary cycle?. Isn't it just a good thing if if we change how we function AS a species?.

Forget green-house, how we function is shit-house. Fixing it can only be a good thing for us and the planet, can't it?.

These clowns can't see the ocean for the waves.

  1. Amen brother, a-FKN-men. The very least we've acknowledged is that our current way of living can be changed to minimise our negative impact. So... let's get crackin, eh?

  3. Wholeheartedly agree Moko - while I realise there are economic costs to making changes, we just need to suck it up and make them. Even if we're not to blame, where's the harm is living more sustainably?

  4. Does this mean I should stop considering making a ute (Ranchero/El Camino type) out of a '72 Coupe de Ville?

  5. That's it, if the house is burning down is that the time to find out how the fire started or the time to start fighting the fire?

  7. It always shits me how experts on the topic can have polarising views and yet if they don't fucking know, who does? Agree, wish the same sort of problem could arise that made people be less of an arsehole to each other on a day to day basis. Bern

  8. I like to simplify it even more. Doesn't even matter whether or not the climate is changing it still makes sense to have renewable energy and we all appreciate clean air so lower emissions.

  9. Well at least we get to manically laugh at them when the worse happens, point fingers and say 'I told you blub, blug, glug...."

  10. But it seems that ti does count and also some on the pro's side are no less intellectually corrupt than those on the cons side.

The point is we can't keep pumping refined crap into the environment.

I also note that our glorious leader St Rudd of the Smug grin still has not significantly improved the state of the Murray river..I think he's punishing it because the Rodent even managed to work out something was wrong there...

  11. This kind of thing has happened long before the human race was on the planet.

and it'll happen long after we are gone.

I'm all for improving power through cleaner combustion and having CFLs/LEDs replace incandescents that eat up power.

  12. I am sick and tired of all you liberals screaming that the sky is falling when it comes to climate change. You just don't get it. Let me clue you in: the reason why we conservatives and reactionaries (and I use that term incorrectly) deny the seemingly overwhelming mountain of evidence supporting climate change is the same reason so many of us deny the Holocaust - because we are deathly afraid that, if it is true, it may somehow lead to higher taxes. We will deny ANY truth - no matter how obvious, no matter how important - to avoid paying more in taxes.

Let that be a lesson to all of you stooges of the liberal media. I'm not sure what the lesson is, but I am UTTERLY sure there is a lesson in there somewhere, and one that won't increase my taxes.
