H, having seen a video Mokes linked to I reckon with the modern compound bows you'd have to use a release aid. The angle of the bow string around the nock is bloody tight, to tight for fingers.
I will have mine in three days (two more sleeps). Soooo, excited. Though, I've purchased it on line. Hoping the guy at the other end of the phone can talk me through any adjustments I need to make.
Otherwise, I guess I'll take it up to the local shooters club for advice.
"Thats not a bow....THIS is a bow....."
ReplyDeleteNice. Scary but nice....
Looks good! Release aids are good (smoother and faster) but I'll stick with my finger tab but that's personal preference.
ReplyDeleteWhatever works eh. Love the long bows.
ReplyDeleteNeeds moar swearing. Will give you a pass on that cos it's clearly far too early in the morning for yr fkn vocab to have warmed the fk up.
ReplyDeleteSweet. Do you need a license for those?

Doc, lol I promise, next time.
ReplyDeleteDrej, not in QLD, but in some states you do.
Looks like an excellent piece of kit for cappin' fkn muppets.
ReplyDeleteNIC E...FKN NICE..Not sure about needing a RELEASE AID!...lol...but whatever floats ya boat so to speak.

ReplyDeleteYeah, increases accuracy too. It's not a release *aid*, as in *training wheels*, you need it to use those bows.

Yeah, or a shop. Usually they are great ... as long as you're buying something.
