Baraka. (film)

I saw this movie a few years back. I hadn't actually thought about for a long time and then stumbled across it at Youtube.

It's a look at the world you live in. It's not about where you are, it's about what's in it. I noticed in the description they mentioned the director intentionally left the locations for that reason.

Truly an amazing film that you can buy and is a must have for the collection if you have one.

Here's the first part of 10 parts if you want to see it for free.

  1. Every once in a while, I try to look at what's around me, and not where I am. It is an acquired skill, and not one that I am good at yet. It is amazing what you begin to notice if you really try looking.

  2. All I see is a white square in the video spot.

  3. That was breath-taking!

I have travelled and seen many sights and I found it hard not to puzzle over where the footage was shot but once I let it go and just watched, it was magical.
